“Hotel strikes you on first sight as "older". We arrived in the afternoon and wandered around reception for 10 minutes after being told by a lady behind the desk it would only be a moment while the only other person on duty was on the phone. There was no one else in the property. I left, went back to the car and considered going somewhere else. Came back in, and was ignored while the two behind the counter had a conversation. “Love the upstairs section. Spa superb. Only thing was bar fridge froze some of our food.
This is our favourite place to stay on East Coast. St Helen’s is one of the best towns to be in too. Great locality to everything”
