Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The property was beautiful with stunning views. It was so quiet and serene. Could not recommend this place more. Hope to go back someday.
I do recommend taking your own hair dryer and a clothes line to hang wet clothes if you travel in the rainy season.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the AC Hotel San José Belén. The aesthetic of the property is beautiful, modern, and inviting, and the hotel itself has a great atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights was the staff, who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout our stay. Every interaction we had with the team was positive, and they truly made us feel welcomed.
Unfortunately, the one area that fell significantly short was housekeeping. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable ring inside the toilet, which remained there for the entirety of our stay. During the daily servicing of our room, the floors did not appear to be swept, washcloths were not consistently replenished, and the overall cleanliness of the room was not at the standard we expected.
It was particularly disappointing because every other aspect of our stay was excellent. The property, atmosphere, and wonderful staff made for a great experience, but the housekeeping standards definitely need improvement. With more attention to the cleanliness and daily servicing of the rooms, this hotel would provide an exceptional overall experience.

Our room was perfect and clean. We did request extra bedding which arrived quickly for the pullout couch. Water was complimentary and helpful. The pool was cold so we weren't able to enjoy it, even though it was warm outside, it was too cold to swim in. The dining staff were fantastic (especially Cesar). Super accommodating and kind. Breakfast was good, lots of options, but the eggs had lemon flavor which was odd. I asked about the sour taste and the chef said they add lemon juice so we ordered from the omelette bar. Lots of affordable options for dinner. LOVED my charcuterie platter. Felt so fancy at a reasonable cost and well made. Parking was easy and felt safe, also complimentary. We wished we booked a closer hotel for the airport(was about 45 minutes away with traffic) but now we know better for next time.
