“The big plus is the swimming pool / jacuzzi / steam room and the very well equipped gym. The room was very pleasant and well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and drinks were good. If I had to be critical I would say the buffet breakfast was poor with no pastries or fresh fruit salad, bread for toasting etc. There were cooked breakfast choices from the menu but if you are a continental breakfast type person it wasn't great value. “Great location but could really do with a bit of TLC, the hotel is very dated for the price”

“FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊”

“You get what you pay for We stayed at the Laguna Hotel. The location was okay — far enough out of town that you didn’t get all the noise and bustle, but still close enough to walk into Bournemouth or get an uber. Personally we used it as a base to go to Sandbanks beach every day. The room was small, but that was fine for us. The bathroom had a shower with okay water pressure, as well as a toilet and sink.
