“I stayed in the dog friendly room which was ok but not great. The carpets were stained and when we first walked in the room we could smell dog it wasn't a fresh smell. There was a half used toilet roll in our bathroom and no fan so it steamed up quite quickly. The room was at the bottom of the beer garden so was very noisy which wasn't that much of a problem. “We had a lovely stay at the Oaks. The staff were all very helpful, and the food was delicious in the bar in the evening, and the breakfast was also great! The car park was always busy, but we were always able to find a space.”

“No frills. Bar can be noisy but earplugs are supplied.Room 5 is above pub entrance so smokers on pavement can be noisy. Huge variety of fresh fruit and cereals”

“Room was great with a comfortable bed. No air-conditioning so hot in the night. A fan was provided. Great shower. Breakfast buffet was basic and had to ask for restock as staff not on top of it. Full English breakfast looked OK. This is a pub as well with a predictable menu if you have visited any in the chain. OK for some but not for us. Would stay again just for the room and location. Parking on street or in nearby car park.”
