“Our holiday in Menaggio was wonderful because of the beautiful destination, less so the villa. Le Petit Palais did not live up to its grand name & the online photos were somewhat misleading. Positively, the views from the terrace & 2 main bedrooms are stunning, looking directly over the lake & mountains. “Lots of bugs in the room on our arrival, living conditions arent ideal (electrical issues in the kitchen, sofas are not comfy, doors to balcony are hard to open). Property is spacious though and offers great views of the lake. Driveway is very difficult to get into, even with a small car and especially if its raining as it it steep, narrow and a sharp bend.
