“Google Maps took me to an adjacent road, Common Road, which I drove up looking for the guest house. I asked a gardener who said they thought it might be next door. I drove back onto the main road and saw a small lane on the right and a sign propped against the wall showing Church Farm guest house. There was no sign for anyone coming from Abergavenny, like me. There were 2 front doors and I rang the wrong bell as there was no sign. We were told there was a dining room and when we came down for...

“We had a wonderful time at the Old Church Farm. The grounds are very green and peaceful. Very comfortable beds and great hosts! A gem in the area. Do not skip on the breakfast! a fantastic experience”

“There is no breakfast the photos on Expedia are deceiving as they show cooked breakfast. There is no cutlery or crockery if you order food etc. There is no shower gel or shampoo as per normal for most properties The toilet in room 1 didn’t always flush as the cistern only intermittently refilled. I don’t like the replies the owner gives to reviews that are negative - a little bit insulting and defensive rather than acknowledging issues. It was easy to check in and clean and tidy.”
