“Nice old historic building with the quirks of charms to go with it. The beds were very comfortable and the room had fans to help with the heat of the summer. Classic style pub attached to the property and a decent sized pub garden to go with it. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. I think this was the stand out part of the stay. Had the carvery on one of the night there and have to say it was superb. Would definitely consider stay here if in the area, or going to the Royal Welsh...

“El hotel hotel en general bastante bien, llegue ya de noche y aparqué el coche en una plazas que hay justo al lado del hotel. La habitación pequeña pero suficiente. El bar y comedor eran bastante bonitos. El desayuno bien, pero eche en falta una un poco interacción para entendernos (hablo muy poco inglés).”

“A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was clean comfortably and so cosy! We were made to feel so welcomed and they kindly accommodated a veggie breakfast for us. The breakfast was lovely with fresh foods and lots of local produce to choose from. We even got a tour of the place! Would highly recommend a stay here. ”

“Lovely old building but in need of general updating. Grounds and gardens lovely and very well kept with easy access to the river for walks. We booked ‘Deluxe’ double room but nothing like the publicity photos, comfortable enough though. ”

“Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Very quiet with lovely views. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast and the other guests were really pleasant too. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you 😊”
