“Relaxed and chilled atmosphere”

“He estado alojada otras veces en este simpático castillo. Esta vez tenía que ir a ayudar a mi hijos a instalarse en la universidad de Bangor. Dos dias antes me vino una obstrucción intestinal y todo el dolor que conlleva. Sigo ingresada en el hospital y he pasado días muy difíciles. Entiendo que aunque era una reserva prepago, se trata de una causa de fuerza mayor, pero ellos no lo han entendido así. Me han cobrado el 100% de la reserva sin ser utilizada. Lamentable gestión. ”

“Lovely little hotel. We enjoyed a simple one night stop over during a walking weekend. Our little twin room was very quirky with original Victoria beds which gave Bednobs and Broomsticks vibes. The room and bathroom were both clean and tidy, and breakfast was just the right size to fuel us for another morning's walking. Great value for money!”

“We stayed at Craigside in Room 21, which we have stayed in a number of times as regular guests. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. The hotel was extremely busy with a large group and we felt this had a noticeable impact on the level of service at breakfast. We came down around 9am, with breakfast served until 10am, yet when I asked for white bread for toast, I was told it was frozen and would take some time to defrost. There was also very little brown bread available and the juices...

“Great location, plenty of car park space within the property. Our room was on the 2nd floor, stairs only. Lovely, comfy room, clean, good size bathroom with shower. Dinner was great in the restaurant. Breakfast had cereal at buffet, then order cooked from menu. Good meals. Great staff, friendly, good history of hotel with links to JW Lees. We had two nights, happy to stay here again.”
