“First impression when arriving was a shambles the motel looked like a block of flats. Three floors high. The entrance to the rooms was by way of a fire escape. The door to the room didn’t look safe as the key card was disabled and a lock put in above it. The beer garden was down below, the restaurant looked like a motorway cafe. We had to ask where reception was and it was in the adjacent building. Big improvements are needed to upgrade windows and doors. We paid for our stay and then left. ...

“I found the breakfast was very poor quality which wasn't cooked very well, I had cornflakes and toast which couldn't be messed with”

“Bed room clean. Mattress and pillows on the hard side. Shower room sensors stayed on all night so did not sleep very well. Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs. Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. Would have been nice to have had small unopened mini bottles for hygiene purposes. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel.”

“A lovely private cosy shepherds hut with all facilities you would need for your stay! Lovely village location not too far from anything on the island. Cooking facilities are great, bathroom is suitable for everyday needs. Lovely log burner (luckily I didn’t need this as weather was fine!) and all other amenities included for what you would need for your stay! Host very responsive to questions and messages.
