“The view from our superior room was amazing, looking over the Menai straits and the pier. Breakfast was very disappointing. Ours had been kept warm and was very dry. The stairs were an issue. You couldn't avoid them to access the building. I had indicated issues with mobility when i booked but the hotel only sent info about them the day before after free cancellation was impossible. The Indian meal was satisfactory. The waitress was very helpful although with limited English.”

“Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought through with stylish design and decorations. “Bed room clean. Mattress and pillows on the hard side. Shower room sensors stayed on all night so did not sleep very well. Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs. Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. Would have been nice to have had small unopened mini bottles for hygiene purposes. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel.”
