“Generally clean room but we did find a dog biscuit under the sink while we were there……and we didn’t have one with us. It was during a heat wave and had to sleep with the window open even though a fan was provided, this made it a little noisy at times. Good breakfast and all staff were friendly and in the main, helpful. Only received a “that’s not my job, see the bar staff” once on one of the evenings.”

“This is a very friendly small hotel we used when walking part of the Anglesey coast path. Our room was clean. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent. The owner was very helpful giving us information about our walk. We will come back.”

“Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought through with stylish design and decorations. “This was are third visit to the gladstone, Gavin and Stephen are brilliant hosts staff are excellent, food ot the hotel is excellent and not to expensive, car parking either side of the hotel. ”

“Bed room clean. Mattress and pillows on the hard side. Shower room sensors stayed on all night so did not sleep very well. Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs. Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. Would have been nice to have had small unopened mini bottles for hygiene purposes. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel.”
