“The property was exceptional. Our room was lovely, clean, and well-appointed. Every aspect of the renovation was clearly well planned and thoughtfully executed. It was wonderful to have ample parking right out front. We only wish we could have stayed longer. After so many generic hotels on the South Island, it was a lovely treat to find this cozy gem. We hope to return—it’s a wonderful addition to this charming town.”

“Beautiful very spacious very large living and bedrooms. We slept like a baby and it was a self sufficient stay with a proper kitchen, milk stocked, coffee etc. etc. The TV were a bit outdated as they weren't connected to the Internet which could have been better but overall, fantastic property and a great overnight stayer if you are heading to Christchurch to catch a plane or have arrived in the evening at Christchurch and are heading to an alpine retreat”

“Booked for a night in October. Felt very cold when entering the room at around 9pm, as all the windows were kept open. It took at least 1 hour for the heater to make it warm. Bathroom was too cold even after closing the window, may be due to some air leakages. Communication with staff is very good. Bathroom is clean. Except the cold part, I like everything about this 2 bedroom flat room flat”

“No Issues”

“We booked through Expedia it said standard room but not that we had the mini standard room that wasn't part of the main motel units more like a sleepout on the end of the office. It was really small, no heating or fan in the bathroom, the water pressure was terrible, the bed and pillows old and uncomfortable and there was a noise most of the night that sounded like a washing machine or water running. I'll never book with Trivago, Expedia or the Conmadore Motel again.”

“What a charming place! This place was more than I hoped. Beautiful styled while allowing for comfort. The surrounds are stunning and the home is delightful. I will be recommending this to friends who need a relaxing stop to recharge. We didn’t want to leave!!”
