“We stayed here for one night on our way to Minehead and it was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had. We booked this hotel specifically because it advertised air-conditioned rooms. On arrival, we were greeted by a sign saying the hotel was under refurbishment and there was no air conditioning. This was never mentioned when we booked. “A lovely, quiet place and a great spot to relax. The hotel room and bathroom were clean, and the spa facilities were excellent. A big shout-out to Sam, who did my treatment—she was absolutely amazing and made the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the walls were not very soundproof, so I could hear people walking around at night. Other than that, I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it.”
