“Firstly, the staff were great. Otherwise, this hotel desperately needs some investment. It wasn't cheap staying here for one night and what we got was a noisy room stuck in the 90s, The property smelled like an old folk's home. Stains on the carpets both in the room and common areas and furnishings were worn out. It just wasn't the best stay. Nice breakfast though, and plenty of parking.”

“Stayed for one night in a double room. Ok size for price, clean and all amenities supplied, tea, coffee, iron, iron board and toiletries. But noisy next to the road but ok after 10pm.”

“A little gem in the heart of Hebden Bridge. From the moment we arrived, the staff were polite and helpful. As vegans, it was lovely to have oat milk included as standard with the tea and coffee items in our room, and the vegan breakfast was lovely. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We will definitely return.”

“We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

“We stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding as the reception was at the hotel. The staff were helpful, the room was nice, spacious and generally clean. We did not know parking was an additional charge but was not ridiculous (£4 per day). I particularly enjoyed the power shower and the lobby area on the ground floor which was great for socialising with others after the event.”
