“The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. Our room was very pleasant ,though a “proper”wardrobe would have been appreciated. “This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). “Located in the centre of town and with a car park which is very useful. Really helpful communication prior to arrival and a friendly welcome. The room was big and comfortable. A good selection at breakfast. We stayed here for one night to break up a bigger journey and would not hesitate to book again if we had to repeat this.”

“The Hotel has parking first come first serve very Narrow drive through alley. Does not have a dessert menu this is done by staff telling you whats on the menu it also does not have a wine list this is very limited. ”

“Clean and tidy caravan. Nice seating and kitchen area plus two bathrooms. Double bed mattress could be newer, was a bit springy. Trainline behind could disturb light sleepers. WiFi only available from adjoining hotel.”
