“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“Delightful cabin stay. Easy booking. Clear communication including a very detailed instruction given our late check-in (nice additional touch leaving a lamp on in the cabin to help our arrival). Excellent fit and finish throughout including the separate toilet and shower block. Convenient Spar opposite and a lovely walk to Par beach via the local coffee shop. Had the opportunity to meet the owner on check-out who was also lovely. Highly recommended”

“Two night stay and really can’t wait to stay again. The room couldn’t be faulted for beautiful facilities. I would have liked the bottled water to be replenished for the 2nd day. Nice complimentary fizzy pop in the mini bar. The food quality is exceptional. We ate in The Chapel the first night and couldn’t fault it. All staff are exceptional, professional and very friendly. The 2nd night we ate in the bar and again couldn’t fault the food. Takes a little getting used to how to get around...

“Tienen varias casas a modo de hotel pero no lo indican en la reserva. Es mas bien casa de huespedes. Calidad del sueño muy buena y cama comoda. Baño pequeño. Alojamiento tipico inglés Mucha luz en habitacion sin cortinas opacas. No ascensor”

“We spent 2 night here while sight seeing around Cornwall. We found it quite central to the places we visited. The warm and welcoming staff made our stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of sightseeing and going back to a good meal completed our day. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I loved the garden. We highly recommend the wheelhouse for your next stay in Cornwall.”

“Perfectly located (bang in the middle of Fowey), extremely helpful staff, lovely spacious room with stunning view, and fab decking area over looking the estuary. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside is that there isn’t any parking so have to go to one of the town’s public car parks. Having said that, we pulled up outside the hotel, put all our luggage in reception before going to park the car.”
