The Loire Valley is famous for its many spectacular large chateaux, but there are also many lovely little towns such as Langeais. It was great to stay in this little quiet little town rather than the huge tourist centres of Blois or Tours.

We arrived just before dusk, and wandering around the town in the fading light was like being on a movie set--it really is a magical place. If you're there on Monday night, dinner options are limited, so plan ahead.
