Parts of the beach have rocks in the surf. But, about 100meters down you can find all soft sand. The free breakfast is ordered off a limited menu which is quite adequate.

The island, as a whole, was an incredible place. I wouldn't let one negative experience ruin my time there. Exploring the island, the Full Moon Party, the people, the weather, the food, the scenery, etc. make this my favorite place to visit.
