Five night vacation trip. The hotel was clean, nice and the pool area was amazing. The beach was neat and clean but the sea in the beach area was thick and not so attractive but this was due to the sandy bottom and the sea.

Good hotel in a good location. Very high level of service. A charming little street full of restaurants and bars leads out of the hotel. Not very accessible for disabled people, for example lots of stairs to the pool. In addition, the rooms are small and outdated. The staff is exceptional.

The service was too bad. We got back from a party on 2AM. The hotel is on a mountain. Asked the hotel to bring tuk tuk. Watied for 20 mins, nothing. so we mount the mountin which was very hard. Another case we ordered a towel from the room service. Took 3 hours ( after complaing thats it is took too long time) Another case, tried to call the guest service. No answer for 1hr. Very disappointed

Staff were very nice and helpful, area, scenery and beaches were excellent. Food and drink weren’t very good. The older part of the resort (just the rooms and their pools) is in desperate need of an upgrade. Before my stay I read more than a few reviews regarding the resorts age and thought how bad could it be? It’s bad. At some point everything needs an upgrade. Panviman is well overdue for one. I’m sure the rooms in the newer section are great, I suggest booking one of them.

Das Panviman Resort liegt ruhig am anderen Ende der Insel, etwa 30-40 Minuten vom Hafen entfernt. In der Umgebung gibt es nur ein paar Restaurants und Cafés; für mehr Abwechslung benötigt man Roller oder Taxi. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage wirkt auf den ersten Blick einladend, ist jedoch stark in die Jahre gekommen: kaputte Fliesen am Pool, Schimmel in der Dusche, Flecken in der Badewanne, Grünspan am Wasserhahn, sowie Löcher in Handtüchern und Bettwäsche. Ameisen am Pool waren ebenfalls ein Problem. Das Frühstück war vielseitig, mit frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen und Waffeln sowie Kaffee am Tisch. Leider bleiben Liegen durch Handtücher oft den ganzen Tag reserviert, was die Platzsuche erschwert. Ein Monsun kurz vor unserer Ankunft hatte den Strand stark verschmutzt. Das Hotel räumte vieles auf, doch der Strandzugang blieb voller Algen und Plastikmüll, weshalb wir nicht im Meer baden konnten. Der angebotene Privattransfer (Speedboat oder Bus) ist praktisch, jedoch blieben unsere Anfragen (per Kontaktformular als auch per Email) vor der Anreise unbeantwortet, sodass wir ein teureres Taxi buchen mussten. Vor Ort war der Service dann verfügbar und sehr einfach buchbar. Ein Highlight war die kostenfreie 90-minütige Yoga-Session mit toller Aussicht – eine klare Empfehlung! Zusammenfassend: Leistungen entsprechen nicht einem auf dem Buchungsportal angebotenen 5 Hotel. Offiziell hat es jedoch "nur" 4-Sterne. Dies schafft falsche Erwartungen.

Das war unser 3.Aufenthalt hier.Der letze Aufenhalt war 2017-zu dieser Zeit hätte ich in jeder Kategorie 5 Sterne gegeben-es war persönlich,das Frühstück war üppig und sehr,sehr abwechslungsreich-die Zimmermädchen hatten noch Zeit,das Zimmer mit liebe zum Detail zu hinterlassen,z.B frische Blumen,schön dekoriertes Bett,wunderschöne Handtuchfiguren-so das man immer ein Strahlen im Gesicht hatte-wenn man in seine Villa zurück kam. Es hat sich leider zum negativen geändert.Das persönliche zu den Gästen ist komplett verloren gegangen.Leider hat dieses Resort auch der Massentourismus eingeholt.Die einst schön gepflegten Villen sind verfallen. Wir hatten eine Grand Pool Villa, Türen lassen sich nicht mehr abschliessen,das Holz der Terassentüren ist vermodert und teilweise Stücke herausgebrochen, die Rahmen sind verzogen, kaputt.Selbst bei den Handtüchern wird gespart,du bekommst zwar neue-aber auch neue kaputte, am Ende zerfetzt. Ich denke für ein Hotel in dieser Kategorie und den Preisen, sollten diese Punkte nicht angesprochen werden müssen. Selbst das Frühstücksbuffet ist absoluter Mittel-Standard, da frage ich mich dann jeden Morgen, ob ich dafür aufstehe.Einziger Lichtblick ist das Personal, witzig und super nett und sehr,sehr freundlich, immer hilfsbereit.Die Lage dieser Anlage ist ein Traum,nur stimmt hier noch das Preisleistungsverhältnis? Zimmerpreise völlig überzogen.

Wir haben das Panviman aufgrund der guten Bewertungen gewählt. Das Panviman ist ein gepflegtes Hotel im großen Ganzen und der Ausblick und die Sea View Pool Villa waren schön. Die meisten Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Leider hat uns das Hotel trotzdem überhaupt nicht überzeugt, das Preisleisleistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht und ist völlig überzogen. Es handelt sich hier definitiv nicht um ein 5 Sterne Hotel und das Hotel ist auch deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte an allen möglichen Stellen mal ein neues Outfit. Das Frühstück war ok, aber der Service völlig überfordert. Wir haben Weihnachten in dem Hotel verbracht und wir waren einfach sehr enttäuscht, da wir schlicht weg viel mehr erwartet hatten. Man bekommt schnell den Eindruck, dass seit der Eröffnung Ende der 80 er Jahr nie wieder etwas investiert wurde. Schade!
