“Nice rooms with fridge, tea/coffee and bottled water provided. Comfortable beds. Decent breakfast for the price. Solid mid-range option for the area.”

“I did arrive at 9.15pm but had messaged ahead to say I would be late. No staff were on site the number I called brought a very helpful young chap from his home to let me in. The bar was closed so no refreshments. When I awoke next morning the hotel was pretty much locked no staff on site and no breakfast as I exited at 8.45. The hotel itself is nice and the chap that came to let me in was very pleasant but a hotel with no staff on site is poor in my book.”

“I was given room 7 very small with a sloping roof in more than one place, shower flooded as drainage was very poor, door into bathroom hit sink as you opened it, and it was a tiny sink, toilet felt like you were in a cupboard, all in all it just was not nice at all, when I asked for another room £70 was what extra I would have to pay. The whole of the so called hotel was totally out dated, extension cables in the room running 4 items off it. View from room window see photo. Will not be staying...

“The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. “Very well appointed bedroom and finished to a very high quality. Kitchen facilities very good and overall a very pleasant place to be and sleep. Would recommend to anyone coming to the area”
