The hotel is located immediately behind a gas station. We weren't thrilled with the location, but otherwise everything was nice. It included breakfast, which had hot food, and the room was clean & very spacious.

We tried to book the hotel in Elora but they were full so we picked Fergus since it's only 15 mins drive to get to Elora. The hotel looks old in the exterior but looks pretty new in the interior including the room. Everything looks good, except the bathtub needs more attention.

There was little to none water pressure in the shower. The parking lot was all torn up and full of potholes the plants outside of the hotel were dead. The benches could definitely use a paint job or replaced completely would not recommend staying there.

This hotel Iacks in many ways, one being the updating of its rooms and facilities, everything is old and dark. The parking lot is all gravel. All together needs a major facelift.

Property has no pool. First room we were given appeared clean but was very stinky. We asked for another room and it also was stinky. It was a mouldy smell coming from the carpets. We were unable to get any channels on the TV. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

One of us didn't have warm water during their shower. Front desk was called multiple times in attempt to remediate the situation. When we finally got a hold of someone we were told that they needed to reset their computer and turn on the warm water function to our room. We felt that was ludicrous as we never experienced this before and we hope this wasn't an intentional incident. Perhaps this was a just an unfortunate situation but its enough to steer us away from this hotel.
