“Great welcome, lovely room with luxury extras like chocolate and toiletries. Hosts were so helpful, I struggled with the heat so they ensured our room was kept cool and gave me a beach brolly to use. The location was good, not too near centre but an easy 20 minute walk to the seafront and shops. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were fab, will definitely be returning.”

Only one minor criticism of the room in that I found one of my pillows was flat & the other like having my head on a rock. “Lovely stay, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was kept nice and hot. We had Room 328 which was very bright and airy with panoramic views, the station, cricket ground and a corner view of the sea. The shower over the bath proved to be tricky in getting the right temperature without being scolded or it turning freezing cold, hence this took about 10/15 mins each day! Bed should be replaced, has probably seen better days as it was very squishy and bouncy,...

“The Villa Marina is run by two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. Vince and Erwan were amazing hosts who would do anything to ensure you had a wonderful stay.
