Accommodations were clean and well maintained. We loved the beauty and historic nature of the property. The restaurant was delicious and servers were very helpful and friendly. It had been many years since we had stayed at Stagecoach Inn but would love to return in late Fall or early Winter so we can explore more of Salado.

We went down mainly to hang out in the pool. We got ready, went down there, and the pool was GREEN!! Couldn’t get in at all. I checked before booking to make sure the pool was open after Labor Day. They said yes. Very disappointing.

This is my second time staying here. The room is always spacious and clean. It’s a perfect weekend getaway hotel. I love that it’s family and pet-friendly. I definitely will be back again.

The location to shops was a short walk. Parking was awful all around and spots filled fast. No in room refrigerator, microwave, or even a clock or phone. Never found the ice machine. Pool was pretty with music continual. No elevators. For the price, I felt scammed as I've had less expensive hotels with way better services.

The room looked better than the pictures when we arrived. Wonderful rain shower. However some things weren't practical. The lighting was nice looking but not bright enough if a person wanted to read a book rather than a digital device. The light switches were not logical - hard to find what turned off what. Bathroom was pretty but sink was narrow & crowded. Thermostat light was too bright at night as was right next to bed. AC was good - not too loud & effective as was hot when we stayed. Bed was comfortable.

Room was clean, beds comfy, and gal at check in was very sweet. Parking can be an issue. I think if they removed some of the big rocks they have and graveled a little of the grassy area close to the building that they would have better parking. Pool needed to be skimmed of the debris on the surface, but that's probably from all the trees around it which provides ample shade, which we appreciated, and the building could use a good pressure wash to remove cobwebs, as the wall and ceiling of the balcony were covered in cobwebs and dead bugs. These were the only things that need improved. It was quiet and the balcony overlooked the pool and it's right across the street from shops and restaurants. I would stay here again..

Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful town. Helpful staff. Didn’t realise we wouldn’t have a fridge (as we’d had one in the previous 3 hotels) but staff gave me a bucket and ice for some yogurts I’d brought for my kids breakfast. It was refreshing to not have to pay for parking too after paying $50 a night in previous Texan hotels (which annoys me, as hardly anyone uses public transport) Pool was freezing 😂 but i think by July it would be nice to be that cold. The kids still had a quick play in it. Nice spacious room
