“Driving up to the hotel, it looked disappintingly like a low end budget hotel....i see now why the first image on expedia was of the attached Carriages Restaurant.
On this particular visit, the land close by was being developed... cant hear anything, but the view from the room looked out towards the construction site.
Carpet along the hallways was dated.
Room itself was good but more attention needs to be paid to dusting.. there were threads of spider web in the coffee cups.. Air...

“This is a great hotel if you are coming to Taunton by train as it is next to the station. There is also good free parking and it is only a fairly short and easy walk into the centre of town. There also pubs and other shops in the immediate area.”
