Vacations Close To Kanchenjunga Mountain

Booked a renovated room & it seems the only renovation was new carpet & some paint. Same old beat up furniture from the first time I stayed there in the mid 90s. I've stayed here several times over the years & it just seems there is an overall lack of maintenance, examples being 2-3 pools closed daily, took about 3-4 minutes to get lukewarm water in the shower & sinks, stains on the ceiling & curtains. Slots were extremely tight & the fire alarm went off at least once daily. Overall, not really impressed with the past few visits to the Rio. One bright spot was a housekeeper named Maria who does an excellent job and cares about her work.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

Seriously one of the most amazing stays I’ve ever been at! The staff was so helpful and recommended us places to go to and provided everything we needed. There was sooo many items available to borrow su h as sunscreen, umbrellas, aloe gel, even swim diapers! The cats were my favorite part- they are such cuties! Will definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone!

After 1 month from check in they still didn't return my deposit. They ripped me for additional 800 USD and they keep lying about it. They said that it's returned on the check out but it's not. I ask them a confirmation of reverted payment in 4 or 5 occasions but they never send it.
