“A wonderful stay! Although the hotel is located near the highway, it was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly charming. The room and bedding were spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. As there was a short staircase to access the room, a member of the front desk team kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs, which we really appreciated. Excellent service and great hospitality. We would happily stay here again.”

“Highly recommended! Everything clean, tidy, quiet. I only recommend putting a bigger sign to know where the parking lot is. (ample parking and it's free).”

“Muy recomendado. Con mucho encanto. ”

“Molto parcheggio. Pulito e molto nuovo o tenuto bene. Molto svizzero.”

“Hotel Balsthal sehr freundliches Pesonal sehr bemüht Zimmer sauber recht modern Frühstück für jeden Geschmack was dabei Jederzeit wieder ”

“The staff was very helpful, the beds are comfyand there is a wonderful view of the Aare River. Note that there is no AC and because we arrived during a heatwave, the staff provided us with fans. There are green spaces and a water park near by. The historic district of Solothurn is just across the river. I would stay here again.”

“It was the hottest week in years; no air conditioning and no fans. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since you have to go through the Mexican restaurant to get to the hotel rooms, we had a difficult time leaving early on the day of checkout.”
