Vacations Close To Jughandle State Natural Reserve

This hotel offers spacious, clean, no luxury rooms. However, the free parking and having a clean microwave and refrigerator and shower water pressure were awesome. It is in the Tenderloin area which was across the street from a rehab hotel/apartment. We didn’t feel comfortable going out walking at night due to the neighborhood. There was a security guard on duty which helped our sense of safety. The WiFi connection was horrible, not advisable if you’re expecting to have a stable connection.

Valet Parking is $75 per night.

Nice room at a great price

Good for the price, and great location, but could hear anything happening outside of the room clear as day. In room 5 there was also a window that looked into the hall, where light came through all night, despite the blinds being closed. The room literally just has a bed, sink, shower & toilet in it. No shelves/dresser/bedside table, not even a hook on the wall. Good for a one night stay, but we wouldn't want to spend a long stay there. Not complaining - just setting realistic expectations for if you go!

Staff are excellent, attentive, helpful, kind, caring. Bed was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel and I travel 2 times a month. Wonderful location near busses, near Union Square, and near very reasonable restaurants. Breakfast is very good.
