We had a great stay in Izmir at Engin Hotel. The family room was a corner room with huge windows in two directions giving great views. The room and bathroom were both very clean, the beds we super comfortable and, importantly, the air con worked very well and was nice and quiet. The included breakfast was delicious with lots of different options, all of which were nice and fresh. It's situated close to the airport (65 lira ride), and right around the corner from a very busy bus station, with busses that take you anywhere you want to go. The food we found around there was also delicious, and there are two banks with ATMs very close. The staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

My taxi dropped me off at the entrance Engin Otel. The door was locked, no instructions. A staff was leaving from another exit and pointed me in another direction to the Extenso Hotel which may be a partner. There was no information given in advance about Engin Otel entrance not being accessible. While the room was very dated and clean, it had a heavy odor of cigarette smoke. I left early in the morning so unable to access the breakfast.

Quick access to/from Izmir Airport. Hotel is next to main road, so a bit noisy but a good option for short overlays. Close to amenities if need anything.

Renovations going on so had to check in around the corner to a hotel with a different name but was connected to the Engin. It’s on a busy road and close to the airport so quite noisy until later at night. Other than that, it was a nice hotel at a reasonable price. It has a decent restaurant and breakfast is included.

Reservation for Engin Otel but you check in next door at Extenso Hotel, which was never mentioned in the booking so I ended up hauling my luggage to a closed door before finding out where to check in. There was nothing posted on the door or anything, I had to call while I was there. Then the AC did not work ! I was told by the front desk that it was not time to turn on the AC in any part of the hotel even if it was summer and high 70s outside. I ended up opening the window just to get some air --it was noisy outside because the hotel was on the main highway

The family room was very nice with floor to ceiling windows and tiled floor an tiled bathroom. Looks better than the pictures. There is a wonderful restaurant downstairs with outdoor seating and the food is delicious and the waiters very friendly and attentive. It is close to Izmir airport and only 50 TL.

Hervorgendes Hotel , das Zimmer war ausgesprochen sauber und trotz Flughafennähe sehr ruhig. Der Empfang an der Rezeption von Merve war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbüffet sehr abwechslungsreich und für jeden etwas dabei.
