Izmir is a potential beautiful city. Their streets need cross lines, smart traffic lights and some traffic signals. There are some people ride on scooters without light at night, drive very fast, and careless. They don’t stop when the light is red.
The city was very vibrant and hectic. We visited all the tourist places and rarely had difficulty communicating. The food is amazing and fresh as nearly all the produce is grown locally and sold in outdoor markets. We felt safe and welcome.
