“We enjoyed many aspects of our stay at the Manor House Country Hotel. The building and location are lovely, and the hotel has a great deal of character. Our room was very comfortable and generally clean, and the lounges are particularly nice places to relax. Unfortunately, the shower had some mould, which was disappointing and could have been addressed with better attention to detail. “The hotel was a bit dull, I had to pay in advance; although I had to pay an expensive room, they charged me an extra cost of more than 30 pounds to change the king bed to twin beds which is unacceptable and additionally we were located in a room for disabled people although we requested a different one. The options in the breakfast were very poor and the service a bit slow. I would not recommend this hotel at all: too expensive and poor service and it is not even well located.”
