Vacations Close To Indian Harbour Lighthouse

Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance, they were adding chemicals. We were a group of 6 friends & asked if we could simply sit in the pool area on the lawn chairs and were told no because of this inconvenience we were virtually left with no slit to enjoy the beautiful day. If not for this would certainly had given a higher rating. Everything else was good with the property

Very modern, newer decor hotel with nice, clean amenities. Location was perfect once leaving Peggy's Cove without going into busy Halifax. Just a minute down the road from shopping and great restaurants without getting lost for directions. Great breakfast too.

Nice spacious room with a great view of the Bay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room didn't have soap for the bathroom, which is fine by the way, but when I asked the front desk they were unable to assist so I had to go out and buy my own soap! Also, when checking out and putting my stuff in the car, a staff member came out and told me to settle up at the front desk. They didn't want to honor my Expedia transaction and asked me to pay for the two nights at a much higher rate. After a bit of back and fourth, and showing proof of the transaction, they finally agreed to let it go. They weren't rude or anything, they just didn't know how to process things through Expedia. They are under new management, which is very obvious, so book with a little understanding until they are more established.

Didn't have time for the included breakfast in the morning due to an early flight but hotel has been updated since last time I stayed. Clean, good proximity to the airport, included 10 day parking and reliable shuttle. Nothing to complain about!
