“We chose Danesfield House for the night before our wedding, hoping for a relaxing and memorable stay. Unfortunately, we were left disappointed. When we arrived, there was a birthday card in our room addressed to another guest, with their full name displayed. This seemed like an avoidable privacy oversight and wasn't the welcome we expected, especially as the hotel knew it was the night before our wedding. The room also didn't match the impression given by the photos online, and the "large" bed...

“Very nice altogether Had to change room (I think I was downgraded) because they did not have a lift for the original one.”

“The hotel is not in Oxford, is actually 30 minutes drive from the actual city and just a few rooms have air conditioning. If you plan to come during summer, the rooms are quite hot.”

“Room was really clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. It made such lovely change to have a cooked breakfast brought to you instead of luke warm self service. Bar prices very reasonable. Restaurant food was great and reasonable prices.”
