“Lovely traditional pub, excellent food and accomodation”

“Nice rooms with fridge, tea/coffee and bottled water provided. Comfortable beds. Decent breakfast for the price. Solid mid-range option for the area.”

“Clean spacious room, very comfortable bed”

“Due to a VRBO double booking, this was a last-minute booking @ around 6:30pm. They welcomed us in with open arms and made the stay most enjoyable. Glad we got double-booked!”

“The bathroom had mold which had me sneezing. Historic doesn't have to mean unkept. Friendly enough but quality not quite there”

“The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while. I was solo travelling and the staff were more than happy to chat while I enjoyed my drink at the bar. I didn't have the breakfast as...

“This was the perfect place to stay for a special event at nearby Wymondham College. I was warmly (well, it was during the heatwave!) and cheerfully greeted by Tracey. My room was clean, well-prepared and provided me with all the facilities I required. It was extremely competitively priced. My thanks to the staff concerned for their part in a really memorable weekend.”

“Excellent hotel, have been here a few times, staff are very professional & helpful, our meal in the evening was very good! Room was lovely & very clean, has everything you need & breakfast was lovely! Will return again soon.”
