A great facility and friendly staff. When the Queensgate reconstruction is done it will be a truly prime spot but it’s still convenient to central Huddersfield now.

Close to train station and city centre. Safe and clean.
Nice location not many spaces for cars rooms need a refurb beds very uncomfortable they are rock hard the pillows are too curtains don’t cover the window so at 4:30 when it’s day light it’s bright in the room wasn’t with £160 for a night
Hotel was nextdoor to a reasonable parking facility (£15 for 24hrs). Easy reach of the town center, university and train station. Staff were great and decor really nice. Didn't realise that our room was windowless and this made for a very warm night even with the fan provided

Lovely hotel. Very very clean. Chic decor and friendly helpful staff. Only downfall was the English cooked breakfast was swimming in oil.
Very clean and comfortable, staff at front desk were extremely helpful, reasonably close to city centre. No complaints at all with the room or its amenities. Price/value for money was ok for what I paid (I did book fairly last minute though so might’ve played a part)
Very nice hotel with extremely friendly reception desk. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The mini fridge in my room did make loud whirring noises every now and again which disturbed my sleep, and despite one member of staff asking me for my room number at breakfast I wasn't asked if i wanted anything from the hot menu. I worked out that you have to ring the bell to bring someone in to then ask about the menu which is on the continental breakfast bar, rather than having menus on the table. But it was all very delicious!
Staff good but hotel expensive for a very small bathroom and uncomfortable bed.
Breakfast good but took a long time because only one bloke doing the lot and he was doing his best….
It's a newly refurbished building with a very nice and decent interior. It offers free parking and has lovely staff.
However, there were two issues for me: the room and the whole hotel were excessively warm with a lack of air flow or air conditioning, despite the outside temperature being around 16 degrees overnight.
Additionally, the room has vertical blinds which are not very effective at blocking out the sunlight in the early morning, so it was very bright if you need a dark room to sleep in.
Positives - central, really clean, pleasant decor, good service (although check in was a little officious!)
Cons - room wasn't as nice as the images, no hairdryer or iron without asking, really loose toilet seat, not able to close blinds (and could really do with blackout curtains)

I thought the room lacked certain things , ie no mirror to sit at and put your make-up on or do your hair with a socket close by ie to style your hair , no hairdryer had to ask at reception, found the rooms very dark , just lacked a feminine touch i think , lovely and warm rooms , and staff very helpful and friendly
The hotel and staff were lovely.
We were asked to move the car out of the car park as there may be essential works happening the next day. We were told it would be free to park on the road but we received a parking ticket!
Spoke to the hotel about it and they were not very helpful and said we should have parked on the other side of the road!!
