“We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

“Very poor experience, you walk in and you have to fill out crap on the touch pad and then walk over to the car park paying machine, check in should be quick, 2 minutes, all the faffing around takes 10 minutes. The extra £4 parking is a complete scam ....... If you use the gym is £28 per month with free parking every night. You pay £95 per room and you pay £4 parking -SCAM .... SCAM Never again, I have stayed several times but no more.”
