Vacations Close To Holocaust Museum and Study Center

The staff was very nice and always available to help. I thought it was a solid choice if you are looking for somewhere cheaper to stay.

This hotel location is right near Times Square and Broadway. It is super clean and the room comfortable. We had the breakfast buffet every morning that was delicious. They have such polite and friendly staff everywhere. So well organized and friendly. Should definitely stay here again!

The hotel is being renovated but they only bothered informing us a couple of days before we arrived. There is no lobby, no roof deck, and the room is definitely on the older side - no ventilation in bathroom, very old and basically stuck bathroom door which made it impossible to properly close, non working range hood.

We just completed a 3 night stay in room 523. The common areas of the hotel were nice and well maintained, the Bellmen were nice and courteous, and the attached coffee shop was wonderful. However, upon checking in, we noticed the hallway outside of our suite had a very strong cat urine odor. The hotel is pet friendly so we just assumed there’d been some sort of accident so we alerted the front desk. They sent someone up to clean the hallway and all seemed fine for a few hours. By the time we arrived back from dinner, the odor was back and you could even smell it inside of our suite. Each time we called the front desk, they did send someone up to clean the hallway, but after a few hours, the smell returned both in the hallway and would linger inside of our suite as well. We noticed the suite directly next to ours was sealed off at the door and did not have a keypad for entry. The smell was clearly originating from inside that sealed room. We sent text messages via the number the hotel gave us to communicate with them on and never received any form of response. We weren’t offered to change rooms and never got any sort of apology or explanation. The room itself was a great size, and was well equipped. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and minimal effort to fix the root of the problem, really put a damper on our stay.

I was very impressed with the Pendry West this stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and quiet, and everything went as smoothly as can be. I also love the little coffee shop Black Fox that is attached to the hotel and the convenience and access to so many great restaurants and shops.
