the room in tower A was nice and new feeling. not being able to use the pool without a fee didnt feel right. the check in process is slow and confusing. expedia should list the host number or make it easier to find the right number. the extra fees are annoying. i did like dons restaurant in the building. had to catch a cab to go anywhere nothing to see nearby but a little kids rides and games. cant get over having the police randomly showing up to the room asking for visas because the front desk made a mistake on the room number. 10 police thinking you are breaking the law makes for a long evening. the room without the terrible check in experience and pool extra cost along with the police showing up was acceptable but with the other issues i would look at other options first

Perfect luxury suites in Saigon!!!

Overall an excellent residence. The property is the creme de la crème of Saigon. The security and property staff are very accommodating. The suite has all the latest technology and comforts of home. Would highly recommend this rental. Only feedback is that the hotel.com site is not well operated and communication pre-check in was not good.

the check in process terrible. expedia gives you a number that doesnt go to the host. expedia should work on fixing this. you eventually get more numbers to call and finally you get the host. probably about 1 hr of time. the receptionist and guard are zero help because they dont represent the host but the building. we booked 7 nights and were told we had to move after 1 night to an older unit. they then made us give them a 2 million vnd deposit. we couldnt use the pool without paying 300k per person per entrance to the pool not for the day. we got charged 500k vnd for clogging the toilet with toilet paper. no toilet paper can be put in the toilet. 300k for a sheet stain. 200k for a towel stain. all the bedding and towels were very old. the guy thought our deposit was a million vnd and when he found out we had given 2 million deposit he was upset he didnt find other charges. not sure if the deposit is for everyone because our other room didnt have to pay one. think it was a shakedown for extra cash friday and saturday a 24/7 concert went on if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. there is limited things around the apartments you will need to catch a cab and go across the river. tower a had newer rooms the tower b. your treatment by the host is indifference. would i stay there again? i would look at other options first

This is NOT a traditional hotel. You have to coordinate check-in with an individual host to using 3rd-party communication apps. Worse, although I specifically booked The Opera Residences, the host moved us to a complete different building across the street upon arrival. We were forced to drag our luggages through a construction zone to the new location. Also, the security staff at Opera Residence are rude and unhelpful as we were trying to figure out how to check-in. This place is NOT recommended if you're looking for a hotel with professional check-in service.

We didn't stay here as we couldn't get in contact with the people who look after it. We spent 4 hours sitting in a cafe, trying to get in contact. No reply to phone or emails. We contacted Hotels.com, who also tried with no success. I am now trying to get a refund. We were left stranded on the street with all our luggage. Stay away.

Newer apartments that are nice and modern. I can’t speak for all units but the people who handled us were terrible. We were told we could not check in prior to 2pm, no exceptions. Then the unit was not ready at 2pm…or 3pm…or 4pm. Two days into our stay we were told we had to change units. On top of that, the new tenants for our room arrived before we were assigned a new room. That wasn’t awkward…

This property description is very deceptive it lists that it has a pool and while the complex does the guest is not able to use it , which we only found out when we tried to go for a swim . Contaced the property owner and were informed that we could use a pool a 7 minute drive away . This was incredibly disappointing as we had booked for a week and wanted to use the pool daily 😕. The amenities listing needs to be changed as the description is deceptive. The other let down was that it is not a servied apartment at all , for the week we were provied with 2 toilet rolls and 2 towels . When we checked in we asked the service and were informed that they would come every 2 days to change towels etc this did not happen in the whole 7 days. Overall I would say that this was a very disappointing stay . Would ABSOLUTELY not recommend at all.
