“Hotel pequeño con excelente y personalizado servicio. ”

“Initial impression- good. Car park all gravel but plenty of parking. Reception - water on offer but it was empty. Were told our booking didn’t include breakfast but included 20% off food and soft drinks. Nice because we had forgotten. No information on where restaurant or bars not a big problem but it is nice to be told. We booked a table for dinner. Was given our room key. We asked if it was possible to walk along the river from the back of the restaurant… no access it is only from the other...

“Convenient but far from the usa standards”

“The staff were amazing. We were desperate for a hotel with parking facilities, as we’d been let down by the Holiday Inn Express. The lady on the desk, reassured us, and got us checked in straight away. It turned our day around. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good value and catered for us as vegans. We’ve stayed here in the past and after this visit, we’ll never stay anywhere else in Stevenage.”

“Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)”

“Highly recommended. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful manor house with lovely grounds. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was awesome! Sure, the rooms could do with a refresh, but they were clean and comfortable. And all for considerably less than the price of the local chain motels!”
