A warm welcome from the staff on arrival and then later for a meal in the bar/restaurant. “Small double room, knightwick, has a toilet that leaked. The whole bathroom and bedroom stinks of mould because the floor must still be damp from the leaks. This room should not be used. The smell was so bad we had to leave the fan and light on all night. This was v noisy but preferable to the stink. Rooflights open all night. The door is a folding type so you can't even shut the smell out. Such a shame because the restaurant, pub and area are lovely and the food v good. Would pay not to stay in...
