Nice place to stay with a warm room and good breakfasts. The people running the hotel were warm and friendly and couldn't be more helpful.

Great little B&B, amazing for the price and so close to the train station only an hour into Cardiff. Off-road parking at the front off the property, easy check in, we were given fresh milk for the teas & coffee in our room. There was a mini bar with plenty of choice if you wanted to purchase drinks. The room was clean, had plenty of space and everything you would need for a short stay. But the absolute best bit was the breakfast, great choice of hot and cold food, all included in the price of the stay.

Excellent place to stay

A beautiful old building beautifully kept. Sheila and Steve run a wonderful B&B of the highest standard. Lovely big rooms and quality furnishings. Excellent breakfast. We will be booking here every time we are in Hereford.

A busy weekend away

Great attention to detail and every comfort provided. Breakfast hot and freshly cooked and of good quality with good choices. Proper butter also provided! Local produce available on an honesty basis. We were made very welcome.

Fab stay

Visited Hereford to see a show at the Courtyard and wanted somewhere close by that had parking and breakfast. This hotel got rave reviews so was an easy choice. Lovely room (6) on top floor, hosts were great and delicious breakfast. Would def stay again - 5*****

Steve and Sheila are wonderful and charming hosts. They gave us tips on restaurants and places to visit that were spot on! And oh the breakfast was so tasty. Wait till you see the garden as well. It was a beautiful place to relax.

Lovely small hotel about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Hereford and also walking distance from the football ground. Our room was spotless and had a great view of the town centre. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. The owners and staff were really friendly and helpful.

Our hosts were friendly and professional. Beautiful room with excellent modern décor. Lovely towels. Great range of treats supplied or to buy from the fridge in the room or downstairs. Appreciate locally sourced produce. Breakfast room was cosy and the breakfast itself was great. Recommend

Warm welcome with large rooms and all of the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. Honesty bar for drinks and snacks, although I didn’t use, was a great idea and not overly priced. Breakfast was great.

Another great weekend

This was the second time of staying at Somerville House and both times we really enjoyed Our room was spacious and had everything we needed Bed was really comfy Mimi bar well stocked Plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits . Owners and staff really friendly Breakfast was excellent, so tasty Good location just a short walk into the town of Hereford I’m sure we’ll be back

Amazing homely, friendly beautiful hotel

Wow, absolutely amazing. The photos don’t do it justice. Warm, friendly, cosy. The rooms also have a minibar stocked with fresh local produce that the owners have personally sought out and vetted. The breakfast is also sourced from award winning local produce - absolute top notch. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.
