“A very quaint period public house. Our room was quite small but definitely adequate for our 2 night stay. Obviously to be expected with a quaint period public house. The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. “Stayed in one of their attached cottages comfortable. Staff were attentive and polite food was very good. Continental breakfast was acceptable. If staying more than one night there is no room service so dishes had to be washed in the hand basin and dried with a bathroom towel.”

“Too many notes telling you not to scratch things. It was nothing like as described on website. Spoon holding the window fastener, other windows held together with duck tape. . Felt damp in there so needed heat. Bedding wasn’t Egyptian cotton, bottom sheet was pea green. Tap just dribbled water out of wash basin. Lane and track down to property was terrible, full of holes. We didn’t stay for breakfast or to sleep there.”
