The ladies in the dining staff were remarkable. Efficient, kind and just lovely. The dining areas were so charming, and our room was absolutely lovely (we stayed in the spa). Highly recommend - as well as the delightful pub just a short walk away!

Great facilities. Spa is really great for a hotel of this type. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Only suggestion would be spa orientation when you’re staying in one of the spa suites.

The spa at Ockenden Manor is absolutely superb – quiet, friendly, and extremely welcoming. The staff create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal place to unwind. The hotel rooms, while a little dated in style, are comfortable and well stocked with all the amenities you could need for a pleasant stay. Overall, a lovely experience with the spa as the true highlight.

Relaxing mini break.

We had a wonderful stay at Ockenden Manor, the staff are lovely, service in the restaurant is excellent and very friendly. Shout out to the chef, each dish was beautifully presented and so delicious. We enjoyed every course and then took a walk around the gorgeous gardens. Our room (Luke) was spacious, beautifully decorated with views over the gardens and the bed super comfy. Relaxing in the spa and time around the outdoor pool made for a perfect mini break. We hope to return soon!

Wonderful Xmas/NY 1nt break

Gorgeous room in the attick with beams, nooks & crannies. My daughter loved it! The spa is super, just annoying that a very well behaved 12yr old is only allowed to enjoy for 1.5hrs in the afternoon/evening.

Lovely hotel and spa

We had an amazing time at Ockenden, our second visit there and we'll definitely come back again! We had an upgrade for my husdand's birthday so the room was amazing and complimentary fizz on arrival as well. Such a lovely place and had a lovely relaxing time in the spa.

Dinner was lovely, great wine choices, super to see a large selection of local wines. Spa pools areas wonderful. Shower in our room (Lily) was rubbish, water not hot enough, glass door didn’t open and water pressure not good. Pillows very disappointing, so flat and uncomfortable, couldn’t see any extra in room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful old Manor House. The staff were so helpful, courteous and conscious of our needs because my husband has a little difficulty walking. We visited recently for our anniversary. The room was wonderful, super quaint and a good size for what we needed for a few days. The staff around the hotel were incredibly polite, friendly and always ready to help. Nothing was too much trouble whether it was minor changes on the cooked breakfast menu, or ordering us a taxi to the local vineyard. The location is excellent with walks nearby and the centre of the village is barely 2 minutes walk, yet the hotel is in a quiet back road with no noise. It meant we had choice of where to eat (hotel or village) and we mi ded it up during our stay. The hotel restaurant is lovely - small, yet doesn't feel cramped or noisy. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace one morning, which was lovely, overlooking the gardens. The spa is fantastic - the staff are really helpful, and food and drinks are available throughout the day. We visited the spa a couple of days, and spent a full day there which was really enjoyable as the facilities are excellent both inside and outside. We both also enjoyed a lovely massage. This was not our first time at Ockenden, but we were only passing through last time, so it was wonderful to spend a few nights here.
