B&B en Haxby

“Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

“Por encima de todo, la amabilidad de Danielle y Tarquin. El desayuno, de lo mejor. Muy bien situado, no más de 15 min. caminando al centro de York. Fácil aparcamiento. Muy recomendable.”

“I loved it. Bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was 10/10. I am so glad I stayed at this location! 5 min walk to the historic center of town but quiet at the B&B.”

“Todo muy bien, recomendado y personal amable… Solo un poco más de atención durante la noche”

“The property is very central and has easy access to the city centre. The room was spacious but the pub is quite loud at night and you could hear the music until past midnight. You were just given a key and shown where the room was and that was it. The room only had a bath and I wasn’t aware of that”

“The hotel had a 'run down' feeling and we were disappointed that there was no breakfast on offer.”

“brilliant place. staff were lovely, very friendly. i needed vegan options for breakfast and they were more than happy to accommodate. great location and easy parking behind the pub. would definitely stay again”

“Aspectos a mejorar sobre nuestra estancia: La recepción solo opera hasta las 8 pm. Para llegadas después de este horario, el hotel envía instrucciones para realizar el auto check-in, lo cual puede resultar confuso e incómodo para los huéspedes, especialmente después de un largo viaje. “Clean & comfortable space. Helpful proprietor. Excellent breakfast! Location was great for our travel (1 mile from local train station.)”

“We loved our stay. The room was cozy, the breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for our visit!”

“The whole place smelled of damp and mould. The bedroom had a very strong smell of cow manure from the farm next door. We could not stay it was so bad. And they have refused to refund any of our £150. Save yourself the wasted journey, time and money and go somewhere else.”
