“Our one-night stay was underwhelming from start to finish. Check-in took longer than expected due to the busy pub. Room 4 was tastefully decorated and had a lovely sea view, with Whitby Abbey visible in the distance, but it was a double bed. We paid an additional fee for our two dogs, but nothing was provided for them—no bowls, treats or beds. We always bring our own, but for an extra charge, we expected some kind of gesture. Unfortunately, several things in the room were not up to standard....

“Beautiful stay at the Haven Crest. Rooms were immaculate. The breakfast was 5* and served by a lovely friendly helpful lady. The premises is just outside the main town but a lovely walk along the coast to reach it, about 15 minutes. A lovely bar with fantastic views right next door. The Manager was was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this B&B”
