“Booked a double room, upon check in was told that the double was under maintenance. The desk person said he would put us in the king suite. I inquired about the bed situation, it is only the single king with a sofa bed. Not great but I figured we would make do. On the way up to the room we noticed the entire place smelled and felt damp and musty. Get to the room, the keys don’t work. Back down to see the guy and get them reprogrammed. “Apparently our reservation did not include breakfast, so we missed out on that thanks to Expedia. Room was comfortable but not adequately air conditioned. TV was not working. Sink was clogged, and shower took forever to get warm water. House and yard need some TLC. Cat was friendly to the point of being a little bothersome. Meowed and scratched at door most of the night.”

“We stayed here during a long road trip after spending nights at several Quality Inns and other hotels, so we had a good basis for comparison. Unfortunately, this was one of the less pleasant stays. The room had a strong Pine-Sol smell, and the hallway smelled heavily of marijuana. It was also disappointing to find that the guest laundry was no longer available, and the vending machines that were once on each floor have also been removed.
