“The car GPS wasn't very good but I managed to use the directions on my phone. The rooms are across the road from the actual hotel. The food was really tasty especially the Full English breakfast which was inclusive. The Accessible room was very comfortable& the wet room was great, just what I needed. Definitely recommend this place.”

“The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. The room I stayed in for 1 night looked as if it had not been decorated for 20 years and still had a lingering odour of Cigarette smoke. “Young lady on reception was really helpful and friendly. Room was clean, tidy and well appointed. Great value. Only small grumble would be the showers regularly change from nice temperature to freezing, then boiling hot,, but easy enough to judge and suck out of, once you get used to the timing. Would definitely stay there again ”
