“My only gripe isn’t the cottage owners fault but that of hotels.com as this properly was listed as reserve now pay on arrival but the money left my account within seconds of booking. Hotels.com excused this by saying it’s in the terms and conditions but don’t advertise as such! The cottage itself is lovely, very off road location and I was worried about my tyres on the way there but all was fine.
