“The room itself was spacious and clean. The pub was great loads of drink selection and the staff were all friendly and super helpful. Our only negative was weather related. The fan in the room didn't help with the heat at all. We had to keep the window open to try and cool the room. On the Saturday it was fine, however on the Friday the noise went on until around 1am from the pub garden. If it wasn't so abnormally hot we could have closed the window and there would have been no bother. We...

“Lovely homely pub and restaurant - and very popular when we visited! Lots of character, open fires and original features make it your ideal, traditional hostlery. Our room was lovely - again, characterful, roomy, and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean, bed was fine too. Included a small fridge so we could put a punnet of strawbs we'd purchased at a nearby farm shop to keep fresh. “Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“Habitaciones perfectamente limpias. No hay limpieza a diario (ni falta que hace), pero sí te ofrecen toallas nuevas y cualquier cosa que necesites. Obviamente, las instalaciones no son modernas. Es un hotel antiguo, histórico, y ahí radica buena parte de su encanto. Tuvimos un problema con la accesibilidad y lo resolvieron con gran amabilidad y eficacia. “Really helpful staff, and room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After breakfast we were offered the bill when we explained our reservation included breakfast. It would seem this is an ongoing issue as staff explained they don’t include it but are struggling with Expedia to remove.
