“Had a wonderful one night stay for a special occasion. Our primary reason for visiting was the spa and it did not disappoint. We used it the afternoon of arrival and the following morning before breakfast. It was lovely in the cold and we hope to experience it in warmer weather too. We ate dinner in the hotel and it was very pleasant. Breakfast selection and quality was excellent. “Overall lovely stay staff very friendly efficient with prompt service. As a 4 star hotel a few things could be improved like a fridge in the room to keep the bottled water they provided cold, air conditioning but probably would be too expensive to fit due to the age of the building and paintwork here and there needed touching up. There was a problem checking in to the hotel as they asked us to pay again even though we had already paid. They said they would sort it on checkout but this could have...

“Not luxurious but full value for money. Single room had a decent bit of space. It was clean and had all I needed for an overnight stay. Nice hot shower and grand view of the Eildons. Reception staff were friendly and explained the process for late night hotel access very clearly. Would definitely use again.”
