“The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of.”

“Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile.”

“We booked a last minute break away to the Lakes and found this lovely little Guest house. Communication with Rob & Becky was great before hand, on arrival Rob met us and showed us to our room, which had everything we needed and he kindly provided us with an iron & board. Property is perfectly located for Windermere and Bowness. Few mins away from the station too. Breakfast was amazing, bacon was spot on!! With a lovely fresh cafetière of coffee! Would happily return and definitely would...

“Lovely little spot on the outskirts of Ambleside but easily walkable to downtown. Great cozy room and absolutely phenomenal hot breakfast. Hosts were responsive, helpful, and friendly. Can't recommend this enough for anyone passing through.”
